good location to enjoy city center of taipei. located between TPE main staion and old district of diwhajie, and night market. breakfast was simple and delicious. good enough to start the day. can walk to tpe station, but also could request shuttle service(free) to MRT station. hotel was Old and antique and we liked it.

there was wide bath in the bathroom. when we turn on the bubble. some black rust came out from the bubble hole. but staff was very nice to fix that problems.

Happy, good value.

Convenient location, very close to the Taipei Main station, walking distance, where you can connect to different regions/cities. The buffet breakfast is good. The staffs are friendly and efficient.

It is located in a well developed area , thus it is an older building. Some upgrades will make it even better.

A good 'middle road' hotel!

The location of the hotel was ok. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. OK WiFi.

The breakfast was really focussed on the Chinese customers. There was a minimal selection of traditional food for Western tourists. Furthermore, the breakfast room seemed too small. It was hard to find a seat. The hotel room seemed a little 'tired', but quite adequate. I was quite happy to stay here for 4 nights.

Very central and very clean

Location, location, location.

The exit sign in our room was so very bright that it disrupted us during our sleep. We asked the staff if we could have it turned off/removed, which was possible, by us just turning off its battery, however that took 72 hours to run dead.

cute and comfy little hotel

the location is good, staff is very friendly and helpful, though it is very small, looks old but it is clean, didn’t have that old stuffy smell, for a 1 night stay, it is ok.

Good location. Easy walk from main station.

The rooms are as depicted. Good size and spa bath a definite bonus. The hotel is close to Dihua Street which is fun to wander along. Ningxia Night Market is also close by.

There was no breakfast available at the hotel as it seemed restaurant wasn't operating. The hotel is split into two parts, separated by a small street/alley. The part I stayed in rarely had staff on duty.

Nice room with sofa seat provided.

Convenience, walking distance to Ningxia Night Market. And also to Dihua street. Many eateries nearby.

1. We didn’t know the cafe was being renovated so the breakfast was catered and hung outside the room. It’s usually cold by the time we wake up. We canceled the next few days of breakfast. But hotel didn’t refund us the cost of the breakfast , which is quite a disappointment actually. 2. Toilet door cannot be locked

fantastic location

Location: 10-15mins walk to at least 3 different metro stations (Main, Zhongshan and Beimen) and nearby bus stops giving many public transport options. We didn't opt for the hotel breakfast after reading the reviews here and that worked out in our favor as the hotel is very close to Dihua St. with loads of food options, and a bunch of supermarkets nearby. Ningxia Night Market is just a 5 min walk away which is fantastic. Room was comfy and well-made daily by housekeeping. Appreciated the daily top-up of bottled water, tea and coffee. Bathroom was more spacious than expected, did not have time to try the jacuzzi though.

We arrived earlier than expected in the mid-morning and the early check-in cost for just a few hours before was very high - close enough to a normal night's stay! Fortunately, leaving luggage at the reception was not charged.

The room was clean and comfortable. The furniture was nice and we loved the spa bathtub and Japanese toilet. There are a lot of bus routes nearby. We really enjoyed our stay.

We didn't like the breakfasts much. They were delivered to the room as there is no restaurant at the moment, and so there was no choice in what to eat.
